Privacy Policy

• Your email address, when you subscribe.
• Your answer to “What brings you to A Cup of CRE?” if you choose to answer. It’s optional.
• Anything you send through the feedback form, which can include your name and email.
• Basic technical information my hosting and email providers record to run the service, such as IP addresses in server logs and whether an email was delivered or opened.

This site doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

• To send you the newsletter and the occasional note about it.
• To understand who reads A Cup of CRE (students, people in the industry, investors and so on) so I can decide what to write about. I look at answers one by one and as totals.
• To reply to feedback you send.

I never sell, rent or share your information for anyone else’s marketing. It’s handled only by the services that run the newsletter: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (the database where subscriptions are stored) and Resend (email delivery). I also keep a private copy of subscriber answers on my own computer to analyze them. I’d disclose information to anyone else only if the law required it.

These services may store and process information in the United States.

Your email and answer stay on file while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I stop emailing you right away, and your record is kept marked as unsubscribed unless you ask me to delete it.

• Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email.
• Change or remove your answer anytime with the buttons in your welcome email.
• Email acupofcre@gmail.comto see what I have on file for you, correct it, or have it deleted. I’ll take care of it within 30 days.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have additional rights over your information. Email me and I’ll honor them.

A Cup of CRE isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

This site doesn’t track you across other websites, so it doesn’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

If I change this policy, I’ll update this page and the effective date. Big changes get a note in the newsletter.
